Link exchange, Linkpartner, PartnerlinkThe topic 'link exchange' resounds throughout the land - not only for better rankings in search engines. But not all link exchanges are equally expedient. That's why we compiled some criteria, which - as far as our experience goes - help to render link exchange most effective for all those participating.
We found out the following:
● The internet page on which a link is located should preferably include topic related text/ information - pure linklists are useless.
● By no means the link page should be called 'linklist', 'linkpartners', 'links' or similar, since the searchengines don't count links on such pages or at least with minor value. Even the internal anchortext to this page should avoid similar names.
● The link should never be located on a framesetpage.
● Links should be set into content - footer links cause minor value, if no further text follows.
● Not more than 20 outgoing links should be placed on one page.
● Avoid crosslinking A links B, B links A - Better use circle linking: A links B, B links C and C links A.
